Join us for a guided snowy experience in our 3-row Subaru Ascent through Rocky Mountain National Park on a 4 - 5 hour private tour with only your party & your guide! On our tour, you'll see a waterfall (frozen during our winter months), we'll drive up the famous Trail Ridge Road as far as it is opened for the season, if conditions allow, walk around a frozen Bear Lake or Sprague Lake (both flat & less than a mile), and you'll also visit the Beaver Meadows Visitor Center at the end of your tour. This tour is NOT a hiking tour, and focuses more on driving in the National Park with small strolls throughout. Minimum of 2 guests. *Micro spikes will be used instead of snowshoes and are included for your tour to keep you safe while walking on icy surfaces. Your instructor will guide you through the process of choosing colors that compliment each other, and guide you through the process and techniques of dipping your tumbler or flask to create your design

We'll also get insight into what it might have been like for early pioneers and lodge keepers as well as indigenous people like the Arapaho, Cheyenne, and Ute. My tours are completely flexible so if you want to hike for 3 or 4 miles, great! Or if you just want sit back and relax and enjoy the view that's fine too! Either way we'll stop often to photograph and talk about the amazing sights.

Pryography is an art technique that involves using high temperatures to 'draw' designs and patterns in to wood, and also add shading and texture to the working surface. In this Inspired Art Studio class, participants will learn the basics of this art form while creating 4 different wood art pieces, using Colorado Wildlife and the Rocky Mountain Landscape as inspiration. These pieces will then be assembled into a wall hanging or mobile art piece that can be hung in the creators home to as a souvenir of their time spent in the Colorado Rockies.

GRAND TETON, YELLOWSTONE WILDLIFE, SCENIC, HISTORY TOURS. On this epic two day tour of the two parks, you could see moose, bison, elk, mule deer, pronghorn, black bears, Grizzlies, wolves, swans, bald eagles, foxes, coyotes. We will present a brief settlement history of Jackson Hole, as well as geology, scenic tours. We shall hike to Hidden Falls. Stops in the Tetons include Signal Mountain and several other historic and scenic stops. The approach is the same in Yellowstone. However, we shall touch on the brief history of the super volcano of Yellowstone, that way you will have a better understanding of why you will see fumaroles, geysers, hot springs and mud pots. Tours include Old Faithful, Grand Prismatic Spring, Waterfalls at the Artist Point, wildlife watching in Hayden Valley, the mud volcano and Lake Yellowstone.

This Make-&-Take class gives participants the chance to design and assemble their own Hummingbird Feeder! Experience the cool art medium of hydro dipping! At this class, you will learn the techniques involved with this unique art experience and pick out your favorite colors from our wide selection of spray paints to create a beautiful, one-of-a-kind Hummingbird Feeder that is sure to attract those amazing little creatures. You will also learn some basic macrame knots to create the hanger for the bottle. The Inspired Art Kits include all of the instructions and materials needed to create your one of a kind piece, and can be created either in the studio or the kit can be taken with and created where ever and whenever the participant would like to create!

This day hiking adventure is for women ages 18 years and older and takes us to Ouzel Falls which is a stunning 40-foot waterfall in the backcountry of Rocky Mountain National Park. We'll start in the remote Wild Basin and travel through dense pine forest while following a mountain stream and passing multiple waterfalls up to our main destination Ouzel Falls. If you love glacier-fed mountain streams, waterfalls, wild flowers, and wild life, you'll love this hike.

We will explore and photograph the appropriately named Wild Basin in Rocky Mountain National Park. We will hike along the North Saint Vrain Creek, and stop along the way to photograph several waterfalls (including Copeland Falls, Calypso Cascades and Ouzel Falls). Bring your tripod and a polarizer filter, and I will demonstrate my techniques for capturing waterfalls and other moving water in a variety of lighting conditions, and help you capture great silky water photographs. The full hike to Ouzel Falls is about 5.5 miles (9 km) round trip, with just under 1,000' elevation gain. For those not able to do the full hike, we will do a more leisurely hike to Calypso Cascades (about 3.6 miles round trip, and about 700' of elev. gain), which still takes you deep into a beautiful area, with multiple falls, and wildflowers and fall color in season. Don't have a RMNP timed entry reservation? No need! My commercial use permit means we don't need an advance permit!

In this class you will learn the the basics of creating amazing fused glass pieces while also make a beautiful necklace all your own! Experience cutting glass into different shapes, layering different types of glass, and firing your unique piece. You will also get to design and string a custom beaded necklace using our a huge variety of beads that your finished fused glass pendant will prominently display on. Due to the firing process, you will not be able to take your finished pieces home right away. Classes that are available for booking at 11:00 can be pick up their finished necklaces at the end of the day (7:00 in the summer season) and classes that are available for booking at later times will need to be picked up the next day. If it will not work for you to pick up your pieces the next day, we can ship your finished piece to you for a small fee ($5.00)
