This tour offers a look into the history of South Africa and how the Portuguese navigators arrived in 1488. The small museum is interesting with a full size replica of the ship which sailed from Portugal to South Africa which was built in Portugal and sailed to Mossel Bay in 1988. This is a beautiful sea side town which offers beautiful beaches for swimming,walking and surfing and for the adventurous offers shark cage diving and a Zipline over the ocean. Mossel Bay is a very rich area with its abundant sea life of diverse fish, seals, whales, penguins, other sea birds, dolphins, the occasional orca and, of course, the Great White Sharks. For this reason we decided to base our shark cage diving headquarters on the Garden Route of South Africa. The predominant dive spot is Shark Island.
