By choosing the Mare aux Cochons trail, clients will have the chance to indulge in nature and discover the fauna and flora of Seychelles. You will discover spices such as cinnamon and nutmeg, coffee plants, endemic palms of the Seychelles amongst variety of endemic, indigenous and imported plants. Bird species such as the Seychelles Bulbul or Blue Pigeon can also be spotted on the trail. The 'Mare aux Cochons' is a protected high altitude wetland with huge Hornes pandanus. A panoramic view of Beau Vallon and Belombre can be enjoyed within 30 - 45 minutes of the start of the trail. The Mare aux Cochons trail offers a sense of adventure, a chance to learn about Seychelles fauna and flaura and its history.

If you are a larger group yourself, please let us know, we will be happy to organize this as your own private tour - WITHOUT EXTRA SURCHARGE. An island tour with Sheena or her brothers around Mahé is a real MUST. You can see how beautiful Mahé is and that the main island of the Seychelles doesn't have to hide from any of the other islands (Praslin & La Digue). The sights / access points mentioned are options, not all can be seen in 5-6 hours, you can choose what you would like to see or tell us what exactly you would like to see. But no worries, In reality, you will see a lot on the Mahé island tour than we can describe. Culture, country, beaches, people & history. There is always the possibility on the tour (optional) to buy drinks, have lunch, snacks & takeaways or visit a toilet or make an extra hour/hours with 25 € each hour. Not everyone who travels to the Seychelles has had the opportunity to visit the Rock Pool. It is not so easy to find, but we will guide you there. The Rock Pool is unique and the hike there is easy to do. It is a pleasant tour because you will already see a lot of Mahé on the way there and it can ideally be seen as a half-day tour. The hike takes about an hour there and an hour back. We spend up to about an hour at the pool. If the weather is good and the sea is shallow, you can jump into the pool (approx. 3-4 meters high, depending on the water level approx. 10 meters deep. You can also swim, bathe or simply relax in the pool. You also have the possibility (optional costs) to eat something in the region later, the whole thing is really very relaxed and also suitable for children from the age of 5. The St Anne Marine National Park is a must do adventure. Discover the pristine beauties of our oceans wildlife. Varieties of fish species and coral. Enjoy calm rest, snorkeling and a small hike of 40 minutes. You wont miss the delicious BBQ buffet lunch served on Cerf Island!

You want to see something of Mahé, but no boring sights, no strenuous hikes, just lazing on the beach, swimming in the most beautiful bays of Mahé? Or just enjoy a coconut on the beach with or without rum? Then this beach tour around Mahé is just right for you! We will visit all possible beaches in a relaxed way, approx. 5-6 hours, and you then decide whether you want to keep it to a short visit, just take a few photos or enjoy the beach for an hour here and there. We also have snorkeling masks & fins for snorkeling (optional). Restaurant visits on the beach are available/possible and can also be included. Water sports with paragliding and/or jet skiing are also optionally available on Beau Vallon beach from various providers. We have certainly walked this tour to Anse Major over 1000 times in the last 10 years and we are still fascinated by this beautiful hike to this day. In terms of outdoor activities on Mahé, this hike, which can also be described as a walk, is a highlight in the Seychelles. The guided tour to Anse Major is easy to do and can also be done in bad weather. You have a great view of various bays & the northwest of Mahé. The green nature in the jungle to be crossed is safe. Children aged 5 and over will also be thrilled, as there is so much to see and discover. We may even see a real flying fox up close and feed it. Anse Major is not accessible by car, you have to make a little effort, but you will be exceptionally rewarded. The way back can be done by Taxi boat at an optional cost.
