Today we will be visiting the east of Cyprus. We have many sights in our program as Famagusta is one of the historical cities to be seen on a limited time while in Cyprus. In the museum the shipwreck dates back to 300BC. Many items that were found in the ship are also exhebited. After a short walk in the harbor and in the back streets of Kyrenia we drive to the capital of the island which is known as Nicosia. The old city is surrounded with high walls from Lusignan and Venetian time.We'll enter the walled city of from Kyrenia Gate. Venetian Column, St. Sophia Cathedral, Buyuk Han are some of the fascinating sites that we'll see today. You will also have some free time to take photos and do some shopping from the local market. Join me on a journey through time in the last divided city of North Lefkosia, strolling the back streets of the old city feels like dropping into an earlier era. Our walk through the medieval city starts in the district of Arab Ahmet, this area was one of the original 12 quarters as they existed shortly after the Ottoman conquest of Nicosia in 1570, where Armenian Cypriots had been concentrated since the Ottoman conquest, the entire area is imbued with a heady sense of yesteryear and is one of Nicosia's most interesting neighborhoods to stroll through. As we continue our path we shall stop at the Arab Ahmet Mosque followed by the Buyuk Khan, Cyprus. We continue our walk through the market area and visit the most prominent landmark in the old city, the Cathedral of St. Sophia, today called Selimiye Mosque. Our journey ends at the Indoor Market, you will have some time to explore all the amazing local produce before our return. Kindly note that a minimum of two guests are required.

This circular coastal walk starts and finishes at beautiful Konnos beach at the northern tip of Cape Greko park. The standard route is 10 km long on the rocky coast. Cape Greko park is a small park between the bustling beach resorts of Ayia Napa and Protaras. The itinerary goes by major attractions in the area including Agioi Anargyroi chapel (and adjacent cave), Kamara tou Koraka natural arch, Cape Greko Rock and Cape Greko Sea Caves Cove (known as Palathkia 'ie Palaces). Cape Greko park is a good destination also for birdwatchers, especially during spring migration. The waters are usually very calm on the east side. In the hot season sea turtles visit the area to feed. In older times the Mediterranean monk seal was also around - now a few individuals are spotted here sporadically.
