Things to Do in Concepción

We will start this trip visiting one of the natural wonders of Biobio Region: the Laja Falls. Then, we will visit Yumbel, known as a Saint Sebastian procession every January 20th. There, we will also have lunch.

In this tour, we will visit two of the most symbolic coves in Hualpen shores Chome, known beacuse of its history of whale hunting that took place until 1981; and Perone, a small fishers cove. Finally, we will visit Ramuntcho Beach.

In this tour, we will do an extensive tour around the cities of Coronel and Lota. First, we will visit Maule Beach, Schwager Puchoco Museum, Communitarios Ovens and Coronel Square. After all that, we will continue our trip visiting Playa Blanca, where we will visit the exact point where the half of the Chilean continental territory is located. We will continue our trip visiting the Mining Town, the place where the film "Subterra" was filmed; there, we will be able to know how miners lived during the second half of 19th century and the begining of 20th century while working in the coal mines. After that, we will have lunch, and then will visit Lota Museum and Isidora Cousiño Park. Finally, we will visit Pavillion Nº 83, nowadays used as a Comunity Cultural Centre for the City of Lota, and then, Lota Main Square, before we go back to Concepción.

In this tour, we will get around the port of Talcahuano, visiting iconic places, such as the port itself, the "Huáscar" ship and the Rocuant Wetland.

In this tour, we will visit in detail the patrimonial city of Lota. We will start our journey visiting Playa Blanca, where we will be in the exact half of Chilean Continental Territory. We will continue visiting the Mining Town, where the film "Subterra" was filmed to recreate the coal miners life while extracted in the zone from 1852 to 1997. Then, we will descend to the mine in a 1 hour and half tour. After that, we will see the Fort Lota, and then we will have lunch in Colcura. Later, we will visit Lota Museum and Isabel Cousiño Park. Then, we will visit Pavilion 83, and finally by a visit to Lota Main Square, where we will see Miners Theatre and School Breakfast Building.
