Join me, Bopha, a passionate local guide and historian, on an engaging 2-hour walking tour through Siem Reap. Together, we’ll uncover hidden gems and explore must-see landmarks that beautifully highlight the city’s architecture, culture, and rich history.
We will begin our journey at a hidden local temple, where you’ll marvel at its intricate architectural design, a reflection of Siem Reap’s ancient heritage. From there, we’ll visit a secret viewpoint tucked away in an abandoned building, offering a unique perspective of the city.
Next, we’ll make our way to the stunning Wat Bo Pagoda and nearby historic buildings, perfect for capturing breathtaking photos. Angkor Wat: Experience the magical sunrise with guide from local village

In this 2-3 hours tour we’re going to visit the Angkor Wat, one of the seven world wonders at sunrise. After that we’ll explore the upper areas of Angkor Wat, the hidden bas-relief carving of Hindu mythology followed by Bagan the famous third floor of Angkor Wat. I will make sure that no questions remain unanswered and you have an unforgettable experience of my hometown.

Tour Highlight
1. The Rainbow Bridge: The ancient stone bridge with 200m long walking to the first main gate( king entrance). In addition, we highlight some Hindu deities which they installed in the gate for worship.

2. The long causeway with 350m long: The causeway accompanied by Naka statue with seven headed (king of snake). And we can visit two main buildings of libraries that nearby the pond.

3. The man made pond: we stop to wait for sunrise( the reflection sunrise into the pool). And explaining the general history-information of Khmer Empire and Angkor Wat temple.

4. 6:10am-6:30am: Taking photos with the best spot for beautiful sunrise.

5. 6:30am: we commence to go up the first floor. I will be detailed the bas-relief carving of the battle field between the Khmer emperor  Suryavarmann 2 and enemies in the early 12th century.

6. The second long gallery: I will be clarified the Buddhist-Hindu concept of Karma and new reincarnation. You will visit the carving of Hell, Earth and Heaven. The trouble punishments for the bad Karma people and sinners in hell. The peaceful life for kindness people on the heaven, and real activities for human on the earth. The end of life; the kindness people would go up to heaven and bad Karma people would go down to hell.

7. The third long gallery: I will inform you the famous Hindu mythology of the immortal life story, and fighting between Demons and Devas(gods) for taking the immortal water to drink.
8. We have to climb up to the second floor of Angkor Wat. Visiting the meditation hall. Normally the second floor represented to the earth in Hindu concept.

9. Going up to visit the third level of Angkor Wat is Bagan(the royal floor). Taking a gorgeous picture on the top floor. There are four Buddha statues and other Hindu god images without head at that floor too.

10. Going down to visit the Thousand Buddha hall and Echo chamber at the first level. Moreover, we will see the ancient inscriptions on the stone pillars that written by prayer in the 16th century.

11. Starting tour at 9:00 or 13:30, we will follow all the highlights tour above.
