Come with me!!
Being an “old school” traveler and experienced hotelier myself, who already served thousands of travelers from all over the world, I love to show my town in an alternative and independent manner, a bit apart from the same old tours for tourists. So, you will see and hear what most people don`t. You get unbiased tips for food, activities, day trips, and even for other places if you wish – not to mention avoiding the “traps”.
The tour is also designed for short-term residents / new residents (such as ex-pats, digital nomads, etc…) in order to get to know more about the area.
After doing this tour you will have a good vision of what has happened in this town from its origins to the present day.
Hear some legends, myths, and stories of one of the oldest human settlements in Europe and how events such as battles or natural disasters dramatically changed both the human and natural shape of this area.
We guide in small groups only and it will take around two hours (maybe some minutes more). Better for the guests, better for us and better for the town. Thank you for supporting real local people.
Please note: unfortunately, my tour is a bit hard for kids younger than 8 years old, including babies.
- Please always book the right amount of people coming for the tour. In case of doubt, feel free to contact me.
- If you are coming by car, in case you don`t know the area, please message me for advice on parking.
Tours are in English, but we do have some in Spanish on summer, please check the dates and flags while booking.
Please contact me if you wish to have a small group tour on another language, or a private tour.

Enjoy the sunset over Cape St. Vincent on this jeep tour along the Sagres coast - it'll be an unforgettable road trip along the southwest coast of Portugal!
During this guruwalk we'll walk through the Lagos old town along with the modern Avenida das Descombrimentos. You'll learn about the Portuguese age of discovery, the great earthquake of 1755, Foods, drinks and about the important people that shaped this nation. One of my guests favourite parts of this walk is when I teach everyone more than 1000 words in Portugal. I've been living in Lagos, on and off, for 17 years and during this time I've learnt a great deal about the history of Portugal and the port city of Lagos. Alongside this I've picked up many secrets on great restaurants, bars and places of interest along with a bunch of money saving tips for travellers. I like to entertain so I promise a few laughs, along the way. We'll finish this tour with a sweet Portuguese delicacy and ato Forte da Ponta da Bandeira and hopefully a drink at my favourite bar. Cheers Brodie
