Each person gives the guru at the end of the tour the amount he deems appropriate (this usually varies from 10 to $50 depending on satisfaction with the tour).
I ONLY DO SMALL GROUPS, I'm not trying to reach the most people, but the right kind of people. Groups start from one to five and up to eight - upon request - people. I firmly believe in quality services, and for this reason, I also require that people who book this tour are interested in learning something. Consider other options if you are too tired to listen or disinterested.

Hey, thanks for scrolling all the way down here! The thing is, I love history. I was born in this city and spent most of my life here. The city of Sucre is the capital of Bolivia and knowing how this region became an independent country is something every single tourist should know.
There are different versions you might hear but, unfortunately, due to censorship, most Bolivians also ignore the real facts behind the creation of this country. I have asked myself these questions for a long time: what happened here before the arrival of the Spaniards? And what about colonial times and the early republican era?? And how are things going now?? I have some very interesting answers, sometimes too sad or terrible.
I also tend to focus on some dark issues and events that have marked Bolivian society, if you want to ask a Bolivian friend something, even if controversial, feel free to ask anything during this tour. We'll have our laughs too, since I don't mean to depress you.

Sucre - Free Walking Tour
We start the tour in the main square. We will learn a little about colonial and republican history in Sucre. We will talk about the most important buildings, visit the central market, the university and the bolivar park and taste some traditional snacks and drinks.
We end the tour with a splendid view of the city in the "Recoleta" square.

I invite you to this walking tour through the Central Market, beautiful alleys and an amazing viewpoint.
The tour begins at Plaza 25 de Mayo, with a brief description of the surrounding monuments and important buildings. We'll walk toward the university to appreciate the building. Then, we'll head to the central market, where we'll appreciate Bolivia's variety of fruits, typical dishes, and much more. At the end of the market, we'll begin the walk to the Recoleta viewpoint, with a few stops along the way.
We'll visit beautiful alleys full of history and the oldest church in Sucre.
Once at the Recoleta viewpoint, we'll be able to observe the surroundings of this beautiful colonial city.
During the tour, we'll be able to see emblems, hear myths and legends, and learn about our history, gastronomy and traditions.

Don't forget to bring water, a hat to protect you from the sun, rin jacket in rain season and a desire to have fun!

On this walking tour, we will explore the wonders that the city has to offer by strolling through ancient streets that are steeped in history. We will venture into the an ancient castle, where we will visit the old office of the Mayor of Sucre and admire the beautiful gardens.
We will also walk along the street of Cats, where the city was born, and then proceed to see the indigenous art of the communities living near Sucre while taking in the stunning views of the mountains from a splendid viewpoint.
During the tour, we will also visit the courtyards of the old public university. In the main square, we will learn about the city's rich history, culture, and vibrant cultural life. Finally, we will end the tour by exploring an old colonial square, from where will we have a beautiful view of Sucre.
