He loves the region and has a strong knowledge of all aspects of the business. Through industry contacts he is able to help you look behind the label and discover the delights of this beautiful wine region.

If you are looking for a guided experience of the Marlborough Wine region but also want to do a bit of exploring on your own then our half and half biking wine tour is the tour for you! Spend a morning on our half day guided biking wine tour. Your knowledgeable and experienced guide will talk to you about the history of the area, its wines and the stories of its people. You will visit three wineries in the morning and then you are free to go at it alone for the afternoon with your bike, a wine map and some helpful pointers from the guide on where to visit.   Peddle along flat, easy terrain that is suitable for all ages and fitness levels.  All morning winery tasting fees included (3). Complementary pickup and drop-off from Blenheim and Renwick accodmation. Up to 8 people per guided tour. E-bikes (electric bikes) are avalible as an upgrade option.

Our wine experienced tour hosts are there to introduce the Vineyards, the wine and the history of Marlborough. Each Cellar door will offer a unique experience and grape varieties that Marlborough has to offer.  We are there to encourage you to try different varieties of grapes and types of wines you may not be familiar with.  During the tour your host will introduce the Vineyards and the people behind the wines putting Marlborough on the World Wine Map. Time permitting, we offer a vineyard educational tutorial and we may even sneak in a visit to the Makana Chocolate Factory for a sweet treat.

Marlborough's Wine and Gourmet experience is something you should not miss....Progressive Wine and Gourmet Trail with your menu tailor-made for your tastes with a matching wine taste. This full-day small-group tour from Blenheim or Picton takes you to the Omaka Heritage Aviation Centre (entry fees apply). This is a popular icon stop with Peter Jackson's collection of classic aircraft and his amazing heritage WW1 and WW2 displays.  Scheduled tours are available and also options for a personal guide (additional costs apply). It is recommended that 1 – 1.5 hours is set aside for you to wander among the life-like displays of the past heritage activities and the most generous collection of personal memorabilia. If you are just passing through Marlborough, and have a little time up your sleeve, you will love our express tour! We meet you at Mount Riley Winery where you can join the group for an informative vineyard stroll, followed by a behind-the-scenes look at a modern working winery, and finishing with a private tasting of the Mount Riley wine selection hosted by your wine-wise guide! You can ask all those curly questions, and capture the best behind-the-scenes winery photos before you continue on your merry way. Please note: Due to Health & Safety reasons full access into the working winery may not be available during the busy vintage season months March-April.
