Hello everyone and welcome to the medina of Tunis
We start our tour at Tunis Central Market, Fondouk El Ghala, 30 minutes.
Then we go through Avenue Bourguiba to the main gate of the medina, Bab el Bhar, "the sea gate". We can spend around three hours exploring the medina, so you can take your time and proceed at your own pace.

Please note that:
1/ Free walk is a pay-what-you want walking tour, which means, it's completely free to book and join the group, but the 'guide' expects to be rewarded once the tour ends. Some people give 10€ per person , some people give 50€, you choose the price.
2/ As a licensed national tour guide, same day reservations are not allowed, as I may not be in Tunis at all, or have other tours.
3/ Punctuality is absolutely essential in order to make full use of the visit time.
Welcome to Tunisia! During the 2-hour tour I will make you discover the charm that this city hides between its narrow streets and its local people. (10 euros minimum price of the visit per person)
The visit begins at the door of France and includes the following stops
- The French Gate that separates the modern part of the medina Zitouna Street, very commercial and lively
- The different souks (copper, chechia, wool, perfumes, medicinal herbs, gold, sweet essences, carpets, tapestries, etc.
- Old café to enjoy a mint tea
