Tours & Activities in Seoul
Hello Everyone,
This is Sanghyuk(English name - Sam)
My tour will explore the famous tourist places in Korea. All the places are connected to each places by walking around 10 min! I've lived in the UK for 3 years and a half years and after I come back to my country, I'd like to introduce our culture to the people who are interested in Korean culture.
My tour will have 3 places which are:
- Bukchon Hanok Village
- Changdeok Palace
- Jongmyo
Please note:
- For your Information, there is an admission fee for Changdeok Palace and Jongmyo.
- Changdeok Palace - 3,000 won
- Jongmyo - 1,000 won.
- Even though there is an admission fee to enter the places, I believe that it will be worth having a look around our culture. The tour will take around 1 hour and a half.
My tour will start from Anguk station Exit 3.

Seoul is a fascinating city, but before diving in to explore, it will be a better experience if you know the story of the place.
The center of Seoul, which use to be the capital for more than 600 years, has a lot of interesting history and different stories behind it. Let's find out together!

🗺️The main landmarks:
📍Cheonggyecheon Plaza(stream):
The picturesque Cheonggyecheon Stream is more than a stroll. It has some dynamic historical background.
📍Gwanghwamun Plaza:
In Gwanghwamun plaza, you’ll find the statue of King Sejong and Admiral Yi Sun-Sin, the two Korean Superstars.
📍Gwanghwamun Gate:
The main gate of Gyeongbokgung Palace, one of the land marks of Seoul you never want to miss.
📍Gyeongbokgung Palace(outside visit/Closes on Tuesdays):
The first palace of Joseon dynasty which was built in 1395 at first. Burnt down in 16th century and was rebuilt, but had to suffer a tragic history.
📍National Palace Museum of Korea(pass by):
The museum that discloses representative collections and academic information.
📍Seochon Village(one of the old towns in Seoul):
One of the old towns started from Joseon Dynasty. A popular neighborhood for locals to hangout with restaurants, museums, galleries, cafes, and small shops.

📍Cheongwadae(the Blue House):
Used to the residential and work place for the president of South Korea, is now open to public.
