Capital city of both Roman and Ottoman Empires, Istanbul has a lot to tell you about those civilizations. While visiting its Hippodrome and talking about the monumental columns and obelisks on it we will talk about the Roman heritage in the city. Visiting one of the most elegant mosques of Architect Sinan, we will have a chance to see a classic Ottoman Mosque and talk about its past and present. We will also see a traditional Bazaar, a Hamam, learn about the Blue Mosque take amazing photos and finally learn about the amazing history of Hagia Sophia.

* If the line to enter the Blue Mosque is too crazy we talk about it from the courtyard and enter Mehmet Paşa Mosque. But most of the time we enter the Blue Mosque.

-No ticket is needed for any place we will enter.
-I use audio headsets during the tour so you will hear me easily even when we walk and talk.
-When the tour ends you will be able to pay the guru whatever you consider fair. Some will pay €10, others $50. It's up to you!

RESERVATION IS REQUIRED because we have a limited space in our tours for a better experience.

We designed this tour for solo travelers, couples, small groups and families. Big group reservations(more than 6 people including kids) are not accepted even in seperate bookings.
No interior visits during the tour except Egyptian Bazaar.
We end up the tour in front of the EGYPTIAN BAZAAR in Eminönü Square.
The tour is only in ENGLISH.
Our tours are conducted by professional and licensed tour guides, and it's totally free to book and join the group. Considering that these tours are our guide's full time job to make a living, we recommend rewarding the guide minimum 10 € \ 10 $ \ 350 Turkish Liras per person for her\his job.
Istanbul is the only city in the world situated on two continents. No Istanbul trip will be complete without seeing the Asian side of the city. This tour will start on the European Side and finish on the Asian Side of Istanbul, namely Üsküdar neighborhood, where you will get to see actual local life rather than the tourist bubble. We will take the ferry from Eminönü. Don’t worry about the tickets, I will have my Istanbul card with enough credits for all of us 🙂

Note: The tour does not include visits to Topkapı Palace and Hagia Irene after 4 pm since they are closed. Additionally, the Blue Mosque is closed for interior visits after 5:45 pm. Lastly, please note that the tour also does not include the Egyptian/Spice Bazaar on weekdays since it is closed at 7 pm.
Note II: As our tours are tip-based, we kindly ask for a minimum tip of $10 per person. Tips in any currency equivalent to $10 (such as approximately 350 Turkish liras) are welcome.
Note III: For the comfort of all participants, we recommend that infants and toddlers under 4 years old do not join the walking tour.
