FIRST FREE TOUR TO THE ALCAZABA OF ALMERÍA AND ONLY OFFICIAL HISTORIAN GUIDE.
In this hour and a half tour we will now get to know this emblematic monument.
The monumental complex of La Alcazaba is the largest Andalusian Arab monument in Spain and not only that, it is a film set. Numerous blockbusters have been filmed inside.
Our guides will take you on a tour through the thousand years of history of the city of Almería. To begin, we will discover the first site where the original city of Almería was located and we will look out to contemplate the San Cristóbal hill.
The second enclosure gives way to the ruins of the Palace of the Muslim Rulers of the city, as well as one of the best preserved Cisterns in Andalusia , this allows us to learn about the days of Arab domination in the Peninsula. This part also has the domestic houses, the hermitage of San Juan and the Mirador de la Odalisca.
Finally, the third enclosure, the Christian enclosure, built by the Catholic Monarchs whose defensive fortress has three towers that will be visited, to end the visit enjoying the panoramic views of the city.
Without forgetting the movie sets during the tour, since Almería is a land of cinema.
