We will start in the Plaza de San Juan de Dios , located next to the Town Hall. We will continue through the Plaza de la Catedral, where one of the most important monuments of Cádiz is located, the Cathedral of the Holy Cross on the Waters, a spectacular building that dates from the 18th and 19th centuries , where the baroque and neoclassical styles are combined. . A few steps from the Cathedral is the Plaza de las Flores , one of the most colorful and busiest squares in the city, famous for its flower shops.
Later we will visit the Mercado de Abastos, where you can enjoy a wide variety of fresh products. Next we go through Calle Ancha , where elegant buildings and some of the main commercial stores are located.
We will continue to the neighborhood of La Viña , a seaside neighborhood, whose name is related to its past as a place for growing vines, and where one of the most important buildings of the Cádiz Carnival is currently located, the Teatro de Falla, with its colorful red brick facade.
We end the tour on the most popular beach in the city , La Caleta beach, framed by the Castles of San Sebastián and Santa Catalina.
