Finally, we will have free tastings , where you can try different varieties of Peruvian Pisco and its multiple presentations; Pisco Sour classes are optional, which is why visitors will be asked if they want to taste or not.
You also have the option of telling the guide that you do not wish to taste pisco.
During the tour, we will explain how a Peruvian lives, which is why the tour guide will explain about typical dishes such as: Grilled chicken and how it is prepared, about Spanish churros, and will visit stalls (optional) where tourists can eat good, pretty and cheap food so that they can observe more, NOT! so that they buy.
Please note that the list of places on our itinerary is free access, so there is no need to worry about it. If the visitor wishes to visit museums such as the Cathedral and Catacombs on their own, they can do so at the end of the Walking Tour with us . Here I will give you the prices of these museums in case you wish to visit them on your own:

This pleasant visit to the city begins in one of the oldest temples in Lima, we will visit La Merced church, which stands out for its 17th century baroque style façade.
Afterwards, we will walk along the traditional Jr. de la Unión.
We will visit the Plaza de Armas of Lima , an atmosphere of tradition and history, the government palace, the cathedral, the ornamental fountain among others, then, we will be by the Santo Domingo church, later, we will be by the Chabuca Granda avenue , it is a place of artistic and cultural events, we will also be able to see some places on the side of the Rímac river,
Then we will be on our way to the train station ( today the House of Literature ), after which we will visit the Wall Park to have a pleasant view of San Cristóbal Hill and other places.
Finally, we will visit the San Francisco Museum and Catacombs, opened in the 17th century.

In the First Place, we will depart from our first meeting point in the direction of the Ricardo Palma del Metropolitano station, to take the public bus that will take us to the Historic Center of Lima. It is important to bring coins with you to pay for the ticket from Miraflores to the center of Lima (the bus price is s/ 3.50 soles per section), here you are saving 15 dollars than the normal charge for a taxi, the trip lasts about 20 minutes to Colmena station, is the closest whereabouts that will take us to the Heart of Lima.
The emblematic Plaza San Martin
Let's explore the Emblematic Plaza San Martín, this space was a tram station that directed its wagons in two opposite directions: towards Callao and towards the Chorrillos spa. It is a vital icon of the Historic Center of Lima, inaugurated in 1921 on the occasion of the Centennial of the Independence of Peru.
This square is crowned by the monument to the Liberator Don José de San Martín, who proclaimed the Independence of Peru in 1821, and bordered by beautiful historical buildings such as the Teatro Colón, the Gran Hotel Bolívar and the Club Nacional.

Union street
We will walk through El Jirón de la Unión, it is a straight street of 11 blocks that connects the Plaza San Martin with the Plaza de Armas in the historic center of Lima, however, it was not always known as "Jirón de la Unión" in the past, each street of this jirón It had a special name like the entire center of Lima, also known as the Pizarro checkerboard and today a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
The main square of Lima
We will visit the Plaza Mayor of Lima, it is one of the most beautiful squares in South America. Icon of the city, for witnessing two important events: the founding of Lima in 1535, and the proclamation of the Independence of Peru in 1821.
Its pool is the only vestige of the colonial period that we can appreciate in the square, since it dates from 1651. Around it are emblematic buildings of the city such as the Government Palace, the Municipal Palace, the Archbishop's Palace and the Basilica Cathedral of Lima .
