An offbeat walk where the only thing that will be to the beat is the sound of our feet.
Together we discover Santiago’s fresh fruit, veg, (and everything in between) market in La Vega Central.
Our feet bounce off the tourist path (like the General Cemetery) and we will interact with true Chilenos as they hustle over the capital city, tasting, smelling, bartering, and bantering.
Are you a traveler with an inkling of excitement and enthusiasm for culture? This tour will fill your inner desires. This is not your average tour! A tour where you should expect the unexpected and discover what it is like to be a Santiago local.
Charge your camera and slap on some sunscreen friends! A personal tour for life’s culture seekers.

Hello friends!
I imagine that they are eager to get to know our city through the footprints and landmarks displayed in the historic center of Santiago. But apart from the progress that this metropolis has presented from the pre-Hispanic stage onwards to become what you can see today, there is a part of that story, not always graceful, that constitutes part of our identity as a country. It is about our historical memory , an indispensable piece in the development of any democracy.
Making these episodes visible is a task for all of us who participate in the education and promotion of spaces of awareness that promote a "Never Again." Therefore, 50 years after that dark period, I invite you to learn about the main events, places and key people located in that same historic center, with a different approach, which will allow you to better understand the reasons for the current polarization and division. politics in our country.
We will visit spaces such as:
- The exterior of La Moneda, the Plaza de la Constitución and its surroundings
- commemorative plaques of executed politicians
- the exterior of 3 detention and punishment centers
- a space of resistance like the Vicariate of Solidarity
This is a special trip, a unique experience of understanding, empathy and solidarity where for a few hours you will be able to put yourself in the shoes of the Chileans and see through their eyes.
Join us through a walking adventure around the city!
We visit and chat about architecture, side streets and both political and cultural destinations, explaining blank spaces you may have in your knowledge of Santiago.
We'll teach you why Santiago has so many street dogs, what it means to be Chilean and our bizarre coffee culture. You will go through streets with graffiti and murals, visit Plaza de Armas, and learn about our past in front of La Moneda Presidential palace.
This tour will help you love the city with as much passion as we do!
Get comfortable clothes and footwear on and be ready to ask every single question that comes to mind, as our red and white striped t-shirt Wally guide takes you through the city!
