Get to know Chile's nature, one step away from Santiago!
When you book this tour, you will visit the Quebrada de Macul, a natural park where you can learn about Chile's flora and fauna.
This excursion will take you deep into the mountains, an experience you will certainly not forget.
We will meet at the entrance of the natural park and enter the Quebrada de Macul. We begin the ascent through a small valley, through a forest, with beautiful views. We will try to reach the bottom of the ravine, where there are two small waterfalls. Finally, we start the return to the park entrance, passing along the banks of the stream that flows through the creek.
The hike is 8 km (5 miles), round trip.
It is a hike of moderate difficulty, designed for people who enjoy hiking and nature. It is recommended to wear appropriate footwear for walking on rocky terrain. We also recommend carrying a backpack with water, a snack, sun protection and protection against the cold, depending on the season.
We finish the tour at the starting point, that is, at the entrance of the Quebrada de Macul Natural Park, around 2:00 pm.

Come and see the General Cemetery of Santiago de Chile, a hidden gem in the heart of the city. This mysterious place shrouded in secrets will transport you to a world full of history and surprises .

The General Cemetery of Santiago, inaugurated in 1821 , is one of the oldest and most emblematic funerary sites in Latin America. Its tombs and mausoleums are silent witnesses of the lives of illustrious, famous and anonymous people, who rest eternally within its walls.

As you enter this enclave, you will realize that each tomb has its own story. The atmosphere is so enigmatic that you will feel a certain chill running down your spine as you explore the dark and narrow corridors. Emerge from anonymity and discover the secrets that lie in each tomb.

On your tour of the cemetery, you will find tombs of various architectural styles, from simple and modest to majestic and ornate. Each of them tells a unique story, full of intrigue and tragedy.

Santiago General Cemetery: An open-air museum.
On this tour we will be able to discover this important architectural gem and historical monument. In addition to finding beautifully decorated tombs, we will walk through some of its streets. An opportunity to connect with art, silence and nostalgia in a friendly and respectful way. It is not intended to be a gloomy tour but rather a contemplative one.
We will visit the most important tombs and mausoleums in architectural and historical terms (Italian Mausoleum and its stained glass windows, Gothic mausoleums, exotic mausoleums, Green Chapel, Yellow Chapel, among others). We will be able to enjoy a very green tour as it is full of trees and gardens.
We will meet at the Cementerios Metro Station (Recoleta) and walk to the southern part of the Cemetery (Avenida Zañartu) to end the tour at the Hospitales Metro Station (Independencia). Approximately 2 hours of walking.
