As a certified Blue Badge Guide, Louise offers a personalised experience driving you to iconic landmarks and lesser known gems that are inaccessible by public transport. Our Island Discovery Tour is a complete whistle stop experience of the Isle of Man. Travelling along some of the world famous TT course, we'll visit famous landmarks from the north to the south of the island, with plenty of stops for refreshments and opportunities to purchase souvenirs. Every tour can be tailored to suit your pace, preferences, and individual needs including visiting places that are wheelchair accessible if required, so don’t hesitate to get in touch and discuss your specific needs with us. The tour timings allow for travel between points of interest and refreshments stops.

In the 1800's there was a large emigration from the Isle of Man to countries such as Canada, Australia and the United States due to extreme poverty and opportunities that were being offered in the new worlds. This tour is designed for those of you who are visiting the Isle of Man for family history and genealogy. This will include the family history with research before your visit, as well as a tour of parts of the island that your family lived in, together with visits to churches where they may have been baptised, married or buried. I have an accreditation for genealogy research with Strathclyde University through Future Learn and I am on a list of researchers maintained by the Manx Museum library. This tour intended for those who want to take a trip back into the past travelling on a restored Steam Train and visiting one of the best-preserved Norman Castles in the United Kingdom. After Visiting Castletown we will travel to the Sound for Lunch, a breeding ground in the summer for the North Atlantic Grey Seal and have lunch at the Sound Café which has floor to ceiling windows providing uninterrupted views of the Calf of Man and the Sound After lunch a visit Cregneish Folk Village which was founded in 1935 by Manx National Heritage, where traditional farming methods are in place, the elusive Manx cat is to be found and the native Loaghtan sheep are bred. The village was also used in the making of the film ‘Waking Ned (Devine)’in the 1990’s We then return to Douglas. Guests can be picked up at a location of their choice

This half day tour of the North of the Island offers fascinating history and spectacular views. We will see the largest working water wheel in the world, Neolithic and Bronze Age burial mounds, incredible viking carvings and the home of the oldest parliament in the world - Tynwald

This tour includes a sightseeing lap of the world-famous TT Course by bus with a local guide and a visit to the Isle of Man Motor Museum. With hours of motoring history to admire, the Isle of Man Motor Museum truly is a dream come true for any petrolhead. After visiting the museum the tour will complete the remaining parts of the TT course.
